Bording fabric expansion joints

Bording fabric expansion joints are highly flexible, which means that a relatively large movement can be compensated at a short overall length. Fabric expansion joints are only suitable for gaseous media such as flue gas and air.  

A fabric expansion joint is always custom-made, during which the composition and design are chosen on the basis of the temperature and medium mixture.  

The operation of fabric expansion joints is based on temperature reduction over the different fabric layers. The temperature on the outside of the expansion joint must therefore never exceed 50°C. The pressure resistance of fabric expansion joints is low. The application is therefore limited to flue gas (exhaust gas) and air systems.
