Core Type WBI
Core PTFE slide bearing type WBI is a square PTFE slide bearing for higher temperatures. The PTFE element of a PTFE slide bearing may be loaded at a maximum of 150°C. The PTFE bearing type WBI is supplied with an insulated counter bearing. The temperature of the superstructure may therefore exceed 150°C.
The PTFE bearing type WBI can be supplied with a counter bearing suitable for temperatures of 300°C or 600°C. The PTFE bearing type WBI can absorb displacements in two directions. The standard motion absorbing capacity is approximately 25 mm or 50 mm. The standard lower bearing is a weldable type WB bearing. However, the lower bearing can also be finished as a weldable type RB (round bearing) or type BB or RB with flanges.
The WBC type is a flat bearing that does not allow the superstructure to tilt or bend. Special dimensions and base materials are possible. However, the standard version is the most economical.
