Habonim Compact™ actuator for ESD service
Habonim Compact™ actuator for ESD service
Habonim Compact™ Actuators have four pistons to create torque around one centrally located piston. By using four pistons instead of the conventional two, the power of the actuator as a whole is doubled. At the same time, both pistons and chambers can be made smaller, resulting in lower total air consumption and faster response times.
The result is double the output compared to a conventional rack & pinion of the same size, or half the size for the same production. This makes this actuator a very compact solution, which brings advantages when the available space is limited.

Application
The series of actuators for ESD service consists of ten variants that realise accelerated response times by means of an adjustment. As a result, these actuators can be perfectly adjusted to specific conditions and to a specific required tightening torque of a valve.
Habonim Compact™ actuators can be used on any type of quarter-turn valve, making them suitable for butterfly valves and plug valves, among other things.
Fastest response times:
- Torque range 10Nm: 0.07 sec.
- Torque range 60Nm: 0.27 sec.
- Torque range 260Nm: 0.80 sec.
- Torque range 460Nm: 1.52 sec.
- Torque range 770Nm: 2.4 sec.
