Centric butterfly valves with PTFE or PFA sealing

Centric butterfly valves with PTFE or PFA sealing

Centric butterfly valves with PTFE or PFA sealing / lining are used whenever the medium is corrosive and capable of affecting carbon steel, stainless steel and elastomer materials. The PTFE or PFA liner protects internal parts against corrosion while ensuring excellent sealing capability with the disc.

Examples of applications that require a PTFE or PFA liner are sulphuric acid, chlorine, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and similar acids. Like elastomers, both PTFE and PFA have limitations in temperature and pressure.
