Lohse Reject Valves
Lohse reject valves
Lohse reject valves are developed for the thoughest conditions in the paper-, pulp- and steel industries. Reject valves are used whenever standard gate valves fail to operate.
Altough all individual reject valves are developed for a distinct reason they all have one aspect in common: they are designed to dispose heavy rejects as smooth and quick as possible while minimising wearing and maximizing operational life.
Where standard gate valves may fail after a few operating cycles, the Lohse reject valves are able to operate well and for prolonged periods of time.
Application
Depending on the exact application, the purpose and the local requirements, our specialists will advise you which reject valves are required to meet your needs.
Lohse reject valves type NAQ & RQS
Lohse reject valve type NAQ (cast iron housing) and RQS (stainless steel housing) are gate valves in which the outlet is large than the inlet. Because of this design the medium is discharged as easy and fast as possible.
The usage of elastomers, polymers and other ''weak'' materials is prevented to maximize the operational life of the valves.
Lohse reject valves type AEQ
Lohse reject valve type AEQ are stainless steel gate valves which have a square inlet and square outlet to make them suitable to be mounted directly below pulpers or tanks. The sealing frame is located on the inlet of the valve which prevents it from getting into contact with the medium.
The usage of elastomers, polymers and other ''weak'' materials is prevented to maximize the operational life of the valves.
Lohse reject valve type TA
The rejest valve type TA is a tandem valve which opens and closes the pipeline by means of two valve plates. This ensures the fastest possible draining of the medium. Because of it's design, type TA is not 100% water tight.
Lohse reject valve type TAQ
The reject valve type TAQ is a tandem valve which opens and closes the pipeline by means of two valve plates. This ensures the fastest possible draining of the medium. Due to it's square inlet and square exit outlet, it can discharge the medium even faster than type TA. Because of it's design, type TAQ is not 100% water tight.
Lohse reject valve type TRE
The reject valve type TRE offers the same advantages as type TAQ. Besides this, the angled design of the valve contributes to a faster and smoother discharge of the medium. Because of it's design, type TAQ is not 100% water tight.
Lohse Dirt Traps including reject valves type RSL
Lohse dirt traps type RSL include a complete system including inlet valve (type CDS), outlet valve (type AEQ), sight glasses and flushing connections. These systems can be used to separate rejects from accept flow. The design and dimensions can be custmized at request.
Lohse Vortex Breakers
Vortex Breakers are designed to break down vortexes and turbulences before the contaminated flow enters critical components. This prevents excessive wear of critical components.
